Robbery!

I took the bus home from work today... I walked this morning, but it is raining now and I didn't feel like walking in the rain. Anyway, parked at the bus stop at Burrard and Broadway were 2 cop cars, an unmarked car and and an unmarked van. As I walked by the Scotiabank on the corner I noticed a sign in the window saying there had been "a robbery/emergency" and that the bank would be closed until the matter had been resolved. Weird!! People still rob banks??! Can you actually get away with that? Seems strange to me. :)
